Tool for Assessing Adaptation in the NDCs (TAAN)

The Tool for Assessing Adaptation in the NDCs (TAAN) is an interactive knowledge platform that aims to provide an overview of countries’ adaptation content in their Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs). Under the Paris Agreement, parties agreed to periodically update their adaptation measures and communicate them, among other documents, through their NDCs. The TAAN demonstrates adaptation objectives, priorities and key sectors as well as countries’ adaptation measures as indicated in their NDCs. You can compare measures planned by different countries and access various key statistics. The tool provides a variety of valuable insights for all interested parties such as policymakers, technical experts, civil society and academia.

The tool will be updated on an ongoing basis. Please feel free to share any feedback and support regarding the further development and improvement of the TAAN!

TAAN is available online under taan-adaptationdata.org
