This Catalogue shows an overview of available Climate Services at the national level in Costa Rica.
The report includes an analysis of the current frequency of extreme events related to sea level rise and its impact on the port of Itajai.
The reports document the generation of climate services from climate change projection data to support studies for infrastructure investment planning. Specifically, these climate services are based on the Eta model and are used to conduct climate risk assessments of the important Port Itajai in Santa Catarina, Brazil.
For the current Cai Be/Cai Lon sluice gate location in southern Vietnam, an ensemble of global climate models can provide some future guidance of precipitation change from present conditions, which can help inform future expectations of meteorological drought. Using the RSI CCHIP tool, ensemble average projections of future precipitation are provided using an ensemble of all AR5 assessment GCMs under the high emission scenario (RCP8.5).
The Regional Climate Factsheet provides brief and concise information on possible future climate developments for the Upper Tempisque basin in the 21st century.
This research aims to support the development of climate services by conducting a survey and analysis of meteorological phenomena that have the potential to cause damage and losses to infrastructures in Brazil, specifically transmission lines of Eletrosul and the Port of Itajaí.
This study assesses developments of solar and wind in different climate change scenarios to inform Brazil's national energy sector's adaptation to climate change.
The following threefold report is the result of a research project to study the occurrence of atmospheric discharges (lightnings) in Santa Catarina. It includes identifying seasonal patterns, trends, and mechanisms that may favor these events, in order to project future occurrences in a changing climate.
A fivefold report about the development of climate services to be used for climate risk analyses of transmission lines in Santa Catarina in Brazil. The focus here lies on developing climate information with regards to extreme wind events.
