The Climate Expert Online Adaptation Course is designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to understand climate change and its positive or negative effects on businesses. While only some NDCs explicitly include the private sector, it can significantly contribute to implementation by identifying potential adaptation options in its sector. In this online course SMEs learn how to identify risks and opportunities for their companies and develop strategies to prepare for climate change, thereby contributing to achieving adaptation goals. The Climate Expert approach is based on experiences from Bangladesh, Costa Rica, Morocco, Nicaragua and Rwanda. The Online Adaptation Course can be accessed below.
