This adaptation finance report for Kazakhstan presents financing options for two selected sectoral adaptation programmes – improved energy efficiency in buildings and developing multi-purpose water infrastructure for flood protection and irrigation in agriculture. It describes the climate finance flows and two project idea notes (PINs) that can be promoted to bilateral and multilateral development and financing partners by the beneficiaries of the project.
