This contribution to the Compendium of Practice by The Coalition of Finance Ministers for Climate Action showcases the GIZ approach to enable partners to independently model the economic impacts of climate change and translate results into policy advice. The Compendium of Practice brings together over 130 practical contributions from 70-plus institutions, showcasing how Ministries of Finance and their partners are tackling key climate policy challenges through applied tools, modeling approaches, and capacity-building strategies.
