The Training of Consultants (ToC) supports professional consultants to become experts in private sector adaptation to climate change. As many small and medium enterprises lack the skills and capacity to analyse climate change they seek advice from consultants and professional organisations. This course is based on the 4-Step Climate Expert Approach and uses carefully developed training materials, including case studies and group exercises. Additionally, the ToC discusses the role of consultants when working with SMEs.
The Climate Expert approach is based on experiences from Bangladesh, Costa Rica, Morocco, Nicaragua and Rwanda. An overview of available tools can be accessed below.
