Risk Checklist: Guidelines for effective management of the risks associated with new business projects in developing countries

Publishing date: February 2016

The Risk Checklist was developed to assist the private sector actors in identifying and managing risks associated with new business projects in developing countries. Originally designed for German companies interested in doing business, this tool can be useful for any company in identifying and managing risks in new projects. These may also include climate risks. Hence, the checklist can form the basis for companies to adapt to such climate-related risks. The guidelines contained in the Risk Checklist may help structure the general risks of new projects, deal more effectively with specific risk issues using established strategies, risk management tips and additional information and save time when looking for resources.
