New Publication: Measuring the Impact of Climate Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) – A walk-through of impact tools, frameworks, and best practices

Climate Collective Foundation (CCF) and the Aspen Network for Development Entrepreneurs (ANDE) recently published a Climate Metrics Guide to provide SGBs, impact investors, and ESOs with a consolidated list of available tools and frameworks for climate impact measurement, along with guidance on how to select best-fit resources based on their sector and impact goals.

GIZ’s project on Private Adaptation Finance is mentioned as a case study and Jui Joshi, Partner, Climate Collective, presented the guide at the 3rd session of PrivABoo’s virtual Summer School on 23rd August, 2022.

The guide presents:

 

  • CASE STUDIES AND RESOURCES ON IMPACT: Investors and ESOs play a vital role in assessing the impact of climate SGBs. This section includes case studies from Omnivore, Third Derivative, New Energy Nexus, and GIZ on how their organizations approach climate impact measurement.
