This policy brief explores benefits, opportunities and challenges of using the NAP process for the implementation of NDC adaptation goals and how the NAP process can inform future iterations. The policy brief argues that linking the NAP process and NDCs can accelerate enhanced adaptation action. It also contains guiding questions for countries considering to use the NAP process in this way, as well as key messages for policy-makers.
