The ‘Digital Climate Service Applications’ study report presents the outcomes of an in-depth investigation conducted by consultants in close cooperation with GIZ between November 2022 and August 2023. The primary aim of this study was to assess the existing trends and prospects concerning the technical, service, and institutional capabilities of Digital Climate Service Applications (DCSAs). The study aimed to offer valuable decision support to potential users, including institutions of the German development cooperation and public authorities in partner countries, to enhance data-driven climate risk assessments.
