New Online-Tool: NDC 3.0 Navigator

As the third round of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) due in February 2025 is approaching, the NDC Partnership and UNFCCC Secretariat launched the NDC 3.0 Navigator – an innovative interactive online tool designed to assist countries in formulating their next NDCs for submission in 2025. The development of the NDC 3.0 Navigator was i.a. supported by UNDP, the German national government and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.

It aims to support and inspire policymakers, experts and partners by bringing together knowledge and support in a series of Routes to Ambitious and Implementable NDCs complemented by examples of impactful opportunities anchored in sustainable development policies, the Paris Agreement and the first Global Stocktake and successful case studies, providing links to detailed guidance, resources, and support. Furthermore, it aims to unlock climate finance and underlines that NDCs can be a vehicle for accelerating climate adaptation efforts i.a. by improving interlinkages between NDCs and NBSAPs and by enhancing nature-based solutions.
