The Cost Benefit Analysis Template is an analysis tool that was developed for technical experts, project developers/ managers and civil society to support the prioritisation of adaptation options. This template is useful to compare adaptation options according to their Net Present Value (NPV) and their Internal Rate of Return (IRR). In case the costs and benefits cannot be quantified the template provides also some suggestions for more qualitative assessments. The tool has successfully been used in Mexico. It can be downloaded following the link below.
