NAP Align is an analysis tool for various practitioners involved in the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) process such as multi-sectoral coordination teams, task forces and working groups. It assists in analysing a country’s development planning and budgeting processes to find entry points for the alignment of NAP processes. While this analytical tool was originally designed to help countries align their NAP processes with their overall national development goals, it can also be used to integrate the adaptation goals set out in NDCs or those planned for future NDC iterations. NAP Align comprises a set of questions which supports linking adaptation planning and budgeting cycles early in the NAP process.
