The Global Programme “Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change” (HMCCC) enables partner countries including Fiji, the Philippines, ECOWAS, and the African Union in developing human rights-based and gender-responsive strategies to address climate-induced migration, displacement, and planned relocation. Through pilot implementation, knowledge exchange, and policy advice, the programme strengthens local capacities, promotes innovative solutions, and positions human mobility as an adaptation strategy in international climate discussions.
