This guide provides decision-makers and technical experts with background information on three economic approaches to assess climate change adaptation options. It introduces decision-makers to cost-benefit analyses, cost-effectiveness analyses and multi-criteria analyses and offers two generic Excel tools on how to conduct them. These approaches can contribute to the ranking and choice of adaptation measures to implement NDC adaptation goals.
