On November 23, 2018, the second version of the ‘Methodology for the Prioritization of Adaptation Measures against Climate Change’ (in Spanish) was launched at the Soumaya Museum in Mexico City. The Methodology integrates and deepens the use of EbA and is designed to work with those adaptation measures that make use of environmental services (or ecosystem services), biodiversity and other activities that can be classified as “green” to reduce a population’s vulnerability, both rural and urban.
With the help of these tools and through capacity building, Mexico will be able to select, prioritize and implement a portfolio of adaptation measures that increase the adaptive capacities ad reduce vulnerabilities of the systems and actors involved.
