During a consultation on the African Union’s Continental Strategy on Human Mobility in the Context of Climate Change, participants called for broader involvement of Member States, Regional Economic Communities and civil society. In response, the process was expanded to strengthen the strategy’s inclusiveness, transparency and regional ownership.
